LUXI Gray Aggressive is a water-based, animal fat-free polishing compound, composed of an alumina oxide abrasive in a water-soluble binder, and silica-free. This compound is safe to use and easy to clean up while producing an amazing finish. Use this Aggressive Gray compound for first stage scratch removal (excellent for use on platinum and stainless steel) directly after 180 grit sandpaper. For best results, use with a 6" tight weave muslin buff at 3000rpm. Each individual package contains one bar of compound (approx 250gm). Dimensions approx 125 x 45 x 35mm. Grinding Feature: very high, Gloss Feature: medium-high.

I like this polish, good for first stage polishing of stainless steel. Using different polishing mops will affect the quality of finish and speed of polishing so experiment and find what works best for each type of metal etc. I've found for this polish that a harder mop is best and you have to work it quite heavily. Its also easy to clean up afterwards with warm water and washing up liquid, though seems a little more greasy than the blue and red polishes for precious metals - a little bit of brushing may be required or some time in an ultrasonic cleaner. The large 250g bars are also excellent value for money and will last a long time!

I like this for polishing steel tools repousser punches, press tools etc on a stitched linen wheel. It's quick and not too messy. I don't find the polish comes off very easily in plain water and tend to use detergent and warm water.
