Made from leather and hung from the underside of the
bench semi-circle.
Used for catching all the metal filings produced when
filing & piercing, and the item being worked upon should
it fall!
When worn the skin will be impregnated with metal and
can be sent for metal refining where the skin will be
burnt away leaving only the metal to be recovered.
