applied (during soldering), and once task is completed
the paste is washed off with water.

I love using this product - Best applied thickly, but with a wet paintbrush - it moves well and absorbs the heat perfectly. Saved many a delicate claw countless times. A must on my stock list

Used this to stop solder from spreading to decorative strip and it worked very well. Easy to apply but a little messy. Brushes off with little effort after use.
