Rating 4 out of 5 Hand torch, 28 Nov 2008
By JULIE HYSLOP
This hand torch is perfect for beginners and delicate work. I am on my second and both lasted over 3 years each. It is simple to use, easy to adjust flame sizetemperature and easy to refill uses cigarette lighter gas. It is very limiting in the size of job you can, only suitable for fairly small scale and wire soldering but a great starting point and reliable.

Rating 5 out of 5 Very good torch, 31 Oct 2008
By Wesley Sharp
I bought a few of the cheaper torches only to find they couldnt sustain a good temp for soldering silver or that the slightest movement and they would go out. Well I bought this and all that changed This torch is great for small jobs, I am no expert but for a beginner its well worth the money. Takes a lot of gas to fill it, so buy a few butane cans to make sure you dont run out when busy

Rating 4 out of 5 value, 28 Sep 2008
By Jenny Chanter
A very good price but the product is quite lightweight. So far it has worked well but it feels cheap and I would be surprised if it lasted long. I am considering investing in a better quality version of the same product so I would recommend saving the 19 and buying a better quality product to start with. Otherwise great and easy to use.

I bought this hand torch three years ago. It is one of the best products I ever have it is still working, it has appropriate heat for any job you need to solder whether it is big or small. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys making jewelery for pleasure like me or for commercial.
