Nice solid workbench. Straightforward to put together. I look forward to putting this to good use. Seems slightly expensive but that is always a personal decision and everyone has their own decision to make on that. It is a one-off for me, I have no experience of other products, so wanted to make sure I got something good enough and am more than satisfied. It is structurally sound and rigid, the drawers and doors all fit properly, nicely finished, no bad points. Only issue was the screws for the drawer handles are too long and need cutting down, as mentioned in other reviews so not unexpected. A minor irritation but if I cannot shorten a screw then I'm not sure what I will be using the workbench for!

This is a solid and well constructed workbench. It was well packaged and was supplied in partial "flat-pack" format. The main side drawer and cupboard assemblies were already assembled and it just required the top, back and shelves to be connected together. This is a very heavy workbench and so being supplied in three modules greatly assisted by allowing it to be assembled in its final position. It would have been much too heavy to move very far (particularly upstairs) had it been delivered fully assembled. I am very satisfied with it and would only change one thing - it really needs an upstand around the sides and back of the worktop, particularly to prevent small items from falling down the back. I will probably add this to mine. All in all, excellent value for the money.

A Solid Bench

Made from plywood, chipboard and hardboard the work bench is assembled in the same way as a flat pack kitchen. Easy to assemble, it creates a sturdy workbench with no movement when filing or sawing. The bench also has good storage capacity. So why only 4 stars. The chipboard panels on the desk I received had some of the corners chipped and some edging strips were poorly applied. Fortunately the damage is unseen at the back of the bench. The screws for fixing the handles to the draws are barely long enough for some draws and not long enough for others. These are things I wouldn't have expected at this price.

Perfect for Working

I would have given this bench 5 stars if it wasn't for one annoying drawback. This bench is unbelievably well constructed, is sturdy and well finished. The storage space is phenomenal and I have no complaints about the workmanship. My one negative is the beading around the top of the bench. It simply isn't tall enough to stop things falling off the bench - so annoying! Other than that I am extremely pleased with the bench and would recommend it if you can live without a guard to keep everything in place.

Excellent and worth the money

I was quite hesitant about buying this as it is quite an expensive piece of equipment and I had managed for years with an assortment of tables and benches. However, I am so impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the bench I have no regrets at all. The storage space is well designed and the drawers are deep enough to take even my larger tools. The quality is exceptional and I thoroughly recommend this.
