A tapered tool, curving upwards at the end. Oval in
cross-section & made from a hard polished metal with an
integral wooden handle.
Used to burnish (polish) a surface unsuitable for
polishing with a mop.
The tool is rubbed firmly over the surface which creates
a 'shiny' finish. (NB.The tool should be kept polished,
otherwise the finish will be impaired).
