Made of ceramic (unglazed) and approx. 5" in diameter.
Used with a Borax Cone(998 098) and water - a receptacle
in which to form a paste.
Due to the ceramic texture, when the cone is moved in a
circular motion on the botom of the dish, fine deposits
of the cone are left in the water, thus forming a flux
paste.
The Borax Dish can also be used to mix other fluxes.
Always ensure the dish is clean - any 'foreign' sub-
stances mixed with the flux may effect the soldering
process.
