Our straight burnisher with handle, is an incredibly versatile tool. It can be used for numerous techniques such as creating shine, contrasting to matte finishes by highlighting edges, and working hardened metal wire, brooch pins or earring hooks.
We’ve had amazing feedback from you about our 3 layer felt pendant wheel used in conjunction with a pendant drill too. You say it’s slightly soft and great for use with Tripoli for first stage finishing on silver and gold. It’s an essential kit for every bench. Our 3 layer felt pendant wheel gets into the narrow areas better than other products on the market. While our calico pendant wheel features an array of calico circles layered and held together at the centre of a 3/32 shank. So, there’s no reason to be without this fabulous finishing technique. Still not sure of our starry credentials? Our steel pendant wheel is great for removing stubborn stains and oxides from hard to reach places, or textured cast pieces. What’s tough enough to clean-up grime but soft enough to ensure your metal won’t get scratched? Our brass pendant point. It looks as good as it works too – with its brass bristles and firm silver-look handle. The brass bristles are much softer than steel wire making them great for cleaning gold.
You can also try our nonabrasive nylon buffing balls in red (coarse 22mm). These mounted abrasive nylon buffing balls enable you to perfect metal and jewellery work and allow you to instantly remove oxide – giving an overall satin finish. We’re pretty sure superstars don’t make their own jewellery, but our money’s on their jewellery makers using products such as these to help them dazzle in Tinsletown. So, now you know how to polish all your jewellery pieces, cut and shape your way to a superstar look today.
