Why not try our Borax Cone? It’s one of our bestsellers, as well as a dry form of flux for soldering. It can be used with water and our sister product – the best-selling Borax Dish. You don’t need much water, simply wet the surface of the dish and tip out the excess. Next, move the cone in a circular motion to produce fine deposits which turn into a paste that can be used as a flux. This keeps the joining area clean while you’re soldering.
Our solder pastes, powder and flux for soldering are much easier to use than other soldering products on the market such as soldering strips, as you do not need to use separate flux.
Don’t be without our Auflux Soldering Fluid in 250ml. Available in a yellowish liquid, it’s primarily used for gold soldering but it can be used for silver soldering too, making it a flexible choice. All you need to do is paint the fluid onto the join being soldered to keep it clean and free from any oxides. We stock this soldering fluid in 500ml and 1 litre.
For ease of use, try our Tenacity N0.5 Powder in 250gm or 500mg. Overlapping with Easy-Flo these soldering flux powders work best when prolonged heating is needed. They should also be mixed with water. Whether you choose to work with this fantastic soldering paste, or another soldering fluid, your joins will be cleaner with all we have to offer.
Finally, we recommend you try our product called Argotect to add to your jewellery soldering collection. It comes in 500gm and provides your standard silver with protection against fire stain when annealing and soldering. It’s very easy to use too – simply mix to a paste with soapy water. Some of our jewellery solder paste and soldering flux products can be hazardous but don’t worry, we dispatch with a courier to make sure the delivery process is much safer. Remember provide next day delivery on orders made before 3pm.
